Andrew Slaney age (unknown) Born in Montreal of Drummer
Victor (Danny Nile) Slaney and Joanne Sauvey Singer and
classical pianist.
Spent the first years of his musical life playing drums,
at age six received his first acoustic ukelele and thus
began the musical voyage.
At age 12 he started playing along side his father in
nightclubs. His father very well known for his North
American tour opening shows for the Beatles in a band called
the Four French Men his stint with Marti Shannon.....
"He wanted me to breathe music"
( I am grateful for that)
Andrew went on to play and tour North
America several Times, recorded two full length records with
his first Original Band CHILD. A 3 month Production in a
Sweetwater studio's in California served to teach him much
about the MIX and how to arrange a proper song.
After 3 years with CHILD Andrew decided to
move on and persue other musical venue's, He spent a few
years recording with various artists, live shows as a hired
guitar player for many up and coming acts, a all star Jam
session musicians from Prince's Emancipation band.
In 1996 Andrew was summoned to the band
Needletrade, a force of song writers and well versed
musicians ready to make a killer record but this project was
cut short due to the death of his friend and Bass player
"Alex" ( I miss you).
After several brushes with the Rock Start
life and many years playing and recording Andrew decided to
try some new
things.

I will always be a musician, it is part of
me. I am still writing, playing and keep a home studio. I
would really love for some of my music to be used in Movies
or commercials.
